Apart from occasional small tokens of appreciation for the
good work they are doing, all the members of BFFA planning committee work as volunteers,
making sure that the goals which BFFA has set for itself are not neglected. Their
functions include orgainsing interviews for the prospective
BFFA- beneficiaries, screening and then selecting the
best qualified ones among them for sponsorship. They also
hold regular meetings among themselves (sometimes
with the beneficiaries and their parents) with a view to
ensuring the smooth running of the foundation.
The members of the planning committee are also responsible for
paying beneficiaries' school fees
and levies and for buying their books. They also assume the role of
disbursing officers by paying the beneficiaries their allowances.
Moreover, they liaise constantly with the founders
and furnish them with the latest developments of the work they are doing. BFFA
appreciates their commitment and dedication to duty. |
